Local Meetups LATAM is a collaborative grant round between Ethereum Everywhere and Localism Fund to support grassroots Ethereum-empowered local networks across Latin America (LATAM) in hosting consistent, recurring meetups over one year following Devconnect 2025.
This grant round aims to sustain post-Devconnect momentum in LATAM by empowering locally anchored networks to host consistent meetups that deepen Ethereum awareness, education, adoption, and community collaboration. These gatherings help local communities discover, explore, and deepen engagement into Ethereum culture and technology, exploring how it can serve local needs and create new opportunities.
We are inviting proposals for a one-year series of Ethereum community meetups. The goal is to help local communities stay active, connected, and collaborative after Devconnect, continuing to foster in-person learning, discussions, and community building throughout the year.
We’re looking for both existing and new organizers who are passionate about sustaining local Ethereum communities. Supported meetups should remain non-commercial, open, and inclusive, focusing on Ethereum research, development, education, or ecosystem topics. Successful proposals will demonstrate a clear plan for consistent meetups, local community involvement, and long-term sustainability - ideally building a lasting network of contributors and partners beyond Ethereum Foundation support.
Evaluation and eligibility for this round are structured across two complementary layers, combining the Localism Fund’s baseline values with Ethereum Everywhere’s operational and community criteria.
To ensure quality, consistency, and transparency across all events, grantees should follow these Organizer Checklists throughout the program. These include pre-event, post-event, and quarterly review requirements:
