Why do you want to serve as an Expert Evaluator for the Localism Fund?

I am looking forward to sharing my experience and expertise to support local communities and Indigenous Nations in building real world projects with economic viability and the genuine potential of systemic transformational impact. In our work in building Kwaxala over the past 4 years we have developed a real world applicable framework for establishing and then equitably funding a self-sustaining bioregional and sovereign economic model that centres on the Indigenous protection and regeneration of a living ecosystem. Our work has included raising philanthropic funds and investment funding, generating ecoservices revenue, shaping legislative change, Regenerative finance fund creation and management, securitization of revenues, regenerative currency design.
