Why do you want to serve as an Expert Evaluator for the Localism Fund?

I have extensive experience on both ends of web3 grant programs. 2021-2023 I helped raise 300,000$ from sponsors including CELO - Gitcoin - File Coin & OceanProtocol for the strategic research and development of scalable applications for regenerative finance under the dMeter project. dMeter coordinated funding and support for 6 pilot projects testing diverse applications for regenerative finance and natural capital asset tokenization. All 6 of our projects shipped mvp's and transparent retrospectives before the bear market killed the next round of experimentation.

Today, I spend nearly all of my "free" work time ideating on and designing incentive models and grant funding mechanisms to help improve the flow of capitol in public goods.

I'm about as familiar as you get with tools like some of these tools ( Karma, Gitcoin, Giveth ) I could stand to come up to speed on some others, and feel participation with the Localism Fund will help bring me up to speed on newer tools and programs.

Localim has defined every aspect of my career. Whether I was helping organize underground raves in my teen years, or consensus building and collectivizing communities around public health and environmental policy with the Public Interest Research Group throughout my 20's, I have always been drawn to work where I get to help bring out the best in others, and where I can help bring communities together around their shared passions and mutual wellbeing. My passion lies in redesigning social incentives and institutions to benefit those constituents most effected by them, making them accessible, flexible, and equitable.

Today I am working to develop interoperability solutions to empower the next generation of DAOs to thrive where their predecessors struggled to survive. Foremost of my projects at the moment is the NounsWorld Bridge & Fractal Nouns, which seeks to develop tools to empower fractal governance in DAOs. Fractal governance provides a framework for building consensus in both local and distributed communities with many applications to explore.
